Service Agreement – Neuman’s Pressure Washing

We believe in clear communication and want every customer to understand what to expect before service begins. The following terms simply outline how our services work and help ensure a smooth experience for everyone. Neuman’s Pressure Washing provides professional exterior cleaning services throughout Carrollton, Villa Rica, Temple, Bremen, and surrounding West Georgia communities. 

This Service Agreement ("Agreement") outlines the terms and conditions for services provided by Neuman’s Pressure Washing ("we," "us," or "our") to the customer ("you"). By signing this document, scheduling a service, or accepting a quote (via signature, email, or verbal agreement), you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. General Terms

1.1 Binding Contract

Scheduling a service or signing this Agreement creates a legally binding contract for the agreed-upon work at the quoted price.

1.2 Cancellation

If you cancel without valid reason (for example, failure to provide access or unforeseen emergencies as mutually agreed), any deposits paid may be retained as compensation for preparation costs.

1.3 Appointment Scheduling & Rescheduling Policy

To ensure efficient scheduling and service for all customers, Neuman’s Pressure Washing reserves specific time slots for each project.

• Appointments may be rescheduled or canceled with at least 24 hours notice
• Appointments canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours may be subject to a $50 rescheduling fee
• If our crew arrives and service cannot be performed due to absence, locked gates, inaccessible areas, utilities not available, or other conditions preventing service, a $75 trip charge may apply
• Weather-related delays will be rescheduled at no cost

1.4 Scope of Services

Services include pressure washing and/or soft washing of agreed-upon surfaces such as siding, decks, driveways, and patios. Specific services will be outlined in the quote.

1.5 Right to Refuse Service

Neuman’s Pressure Washing reserves the right to refuse or stop work if unsafe conditions, undisclosed hazards, aggressive animals, structural concerns, or misrepresented project conditions are discovered.

2. Payment Terms

2.1 Payment Due

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment is due upon completion of work.

Accepted payment methods:
Cash • Check • Credit Card

2.2 Late Payments

Payments not received within 7 days of completion may incur a late fee of 1.5% of the outstanding balance per month.

2.3 Non-Payment

Neuman’s Pressure Washing reserves the right to file a lien on the property for unpaid balances, which will be removed upon full payment.

3. Customer Responsibilities

3.1 Property Access

You must provide access to the property at the scheduled time. Failure to do so may result in a $75 rescheduling fee.

3.2 Water Supply

You agree to provide access to an on-site water supply at no cost. If we must provide an external water source, a $100 fee will apply.

3.3 Preparation

Customers must prepare the property before service by:

• Removing vehicles, grills, furniture, planters, pet bowls, and personal items from work areas
• Ensuring children, pets, and others remain clear of the work area
• Turning off and covering outdoor electrical outlets, fixtures, cameras, and appliances
• Closing all windows and doors before service begins
• Not opening windows or doors until work is completed

If items must be moved by our crew, labor fees may apply, and we are not liable for damage or loss. We are not responsible for damage to items left in work areas.

Customers must disclose any known allergies or sensitivities to cleaning solutions for people, pets, or plants prior to service.

3.4 Rental Properties

Tenants must obtain landlord approval before scheduling service. Neuman’s Pressure Washing is not responsible for disputes between tenants and landlords.

4. Liability and Limitations

4.1 Pre-Existing Conditions

We are not liable for damage caused by:

• Improperly installed siding, shingles, windows, or doors
• Wood rot, defective construction, or loose gutters or hardware
• Existing leaks, faulty seals, or water infiltration
• Fading or chalking of aluminum or vinyl siding

Customers must disclose known property issues before service begins.

4.2 Windows

Soft washing may involve water contact with windows. We are not liable for leaks, fogging, or damage caused by pre-existing faulty seals, cracks, or fittings.

4.3 Vehicles and Equipment

We are not liable for damage to vehicles or equipment left near work areas.

4.4 Vegetation and Runoff

While precautions are taken to protect plants and landscaping, we are not liable for damage caused by water, cleaning solutions, or runoff. Temporary odors or minor discoloration may occur.

4.5 Stain Removal

Some stains may not be removable, including rust, red clay, artillery fungus, paint, and vine tendrils. Removal is not guaranteed.

4.6 Roofs and Gutters

We are not responsible for damage to loose shingles, tiles, or gutter systems.

4.7 Oxidation Notice

Certain exterior surfaces such as vinyl siding, painted surfaces, and metal may develop oxidation from sun exposure and age. Cleaning may reveal streaking or uneven coloring previously hidden by dirt. Neuman’s Pressure Washing is not responsible for oxidation-related appearance changes.

4.8 Electrical Fixtures and Water Intrusion

Exterior cleaning involves water near fixtures, outlets, and penetrations. Customers acknowledge the property must be weather-tight. We are not responsible for water intrusion through improperly sealed windows, doors, siding, or electrical fixtures.

4.9 Concrete Appearance Variations

Concrete may have color variations due to age, patching, oil absorption, or previous sealing. Cleaning may reveal these differences. Uniform appearance cannot be guaranteed.

4.10 Rust and Irrigation Stains

Rust stains from irrigation systems, red clay, fertilizer, or metal runoff may require specialized treatment and may not be fully removable. Additional charges may apply.

4.11 Surface Conditions After Cleaning

Surfaces may remain wet or slippery after cleaning. Customers assume responsibility for ensuring caution around freshly cleaned areas.

4.12 Organic Growth and Environmental Conditions

Exterior cleaning removes existing algae, mold, mildew, and organic growth at the time of service. Environmental conditions such as humidity, shade, irrigation, and tree coverage may cause growth to return over time. Neuman’s Pressure Washing does not guarantee surfaces will remain free of organic growth for any specific period.

4.13 Cleaning Solution Acknowledgment

Professional exterior cleaning may involve industry-standard solutions such as sodium hypochlorite, acid, and surfactants. By accepting this agreement, the customer acknowledges and accepts the use of these cleaning agents as part of the cleaning process.

4.14 Reasonable Results Standard

Pressure washing and exterior cleaning significantly improve the appearance of surfaces; however, results may vary depending on surface condition, age, staining, oxidation, and environmental factors. Neuman’s Pressure Washing does not guarantee that surfaces will appear new or completely free of discoloration after cleaning.

5. Service Quality and Claims

5.1 Inspection Period

Customers must inspect completed work within 48 hours.

5.2 Warranties

Neuman’s Pressure Washing does not provide warranties.

5.3 Photo Documentation

Neuman’s Pressure Washing may photograph or video the property before, during, and after service to document conditions and completed work. These images may be used for documentation, dispute resolution, training, or marketing purposes.

6. Additional Terms

6.1 Weather Delays

Service may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather conditions.

6.2 Media Release

You grant permission for photos or videos of completed work to be used for marketing purposes. No personal information or addresses will be shared. Customers may opt out by notifying us before service begins.

6.3 Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be resolved through mediation before legal action.

6.4 Compliance

All services comply with local environmental and safety regulations.

6.5 Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays caused by equipment failure, labor shortages, weather, or government restrictions.

6.6 Insurance

Neuman’s Pressure Washing carries appropriate liability insurance. Claims may be processed through our insurance provider if necessary.
