Neuman’s Pressure Washing Service Agreement & Terms

This Service Agreement ("Agreement") outlines the terms and conditions for services provided by Neuman’s Pressure Washing ("we," "us," or "our") to the customer ("you"). By signing this document, scheduling a service, or accepting a quote (via signature, email, or verbal agreement), you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. General Terms

1.1 Binding Contract: Scheduling a service or signing this Agreement creates a legally binding contract for the agreed-upon work at the quoted price.
1.2 Cancellation: If you cancel without valid reason (e.g., failure to provide access or unforeseen emergencies, as mutually agreed), any deposits paid may be retained as compensation for preparation costs.
1.3 Scope of Services: Services include pressure washing and/or soft washing of agreed-upon surfaces (e.g., siding, decks, driveways). Specific services will be outlined in the quote.

2. Payment Terms

2.1 Payment Due: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment is due upon completion of work. Accepted methods include cash, check, or credit card.
2.2 Late Payments: Payments not received within 7 days of completion may incur a late fee of 1.5% of the outstanding balance per month.
2.3 Non-Payment: We reserve the right to file a lien on the property for unpaid balances, which will be removed upon full payment.

3. Customer Responsibilities

3.1 Property Access: You must provide access to the property at the scheduled time. Failure to do so may result in a rescheduling fee of $50.
3.2 Water Supply: You agree to provide access to an on-site water supply at no cost. If we must provide an external water source, a fee of $100 will apply.
3.3 Preparation:

  • Remove vehicles, grills, furniture, planters, pet bowls, and other items from work areas (e.g., driveways, decks, patios). If we must move items, a labor fee may apply, and we are not liable for damage or loss. We are not responsible for damage to personal property left in or near the work area due to failure to comply with preparation requirements.
  • Ensure children, pets, and others stay clear of the work area during service. We are not responsible for any pet death or illness resulting from failure to secure pets or remove pet bowls.
  • Turn off and cover outdoor electrical outlets, fixtures, cameras, and appliances to prevent damage.
  • Close all windows and notify Neuman’s Pressure Washing if any window cannot be closed. Do not open any windows or doors until work is completed.
  • You must disclose any known allergies or sensitivities to cleaning solutions for yourself, pets, or plants prior to service.
    3.4 Rental Properties: Tenants must obtain landlord approval before scheduling service. We are not responsible for disputes between tenants and landlords.

4. Liability and Limitations

4.1 Pre-Existing Conditions: We are not liable for damage caused by:

  • Improperly installed siding, shingles, windows, or doors.
  • Wood rot, defective construction, or loose gutters/hardware.
  • Existing leaks, faulty seals, or water infiltration.
  • Fading or chalking of aluminum/vinyl siding during washing.
    You must disclose any known issues with the property before work begins.
    4.2 Windows: Low-pressure soft washing may involve water contact with windows. We are not liable for leaks, fogging, or damage due to pre-existing faulty seals, cracks, or fittings.
    4.3 Vehicles and Equipment: We are not liable for damage to vehicles or outdoor equipment left in or near the work area.
    4.4 Vegetation and Runoff: While we take care to protect plants and landscaping, we are not liable for damage caused by water, industry-standard cleaning solutions, or runoff. Residual odors or minor discoloration may occur.
    4.5 Stain Removal: Some stains (e.g., rust, red clay, artillery fungus, paint, vine "feet" or tendrils that attach to a surface) may not be removable. We will identify such stains when possible, but full removal is not guaranteed.
    4.6 Roofs and Gutters: We are not liable for damage to pre-existing loose shingles, tiles, or gutter systems.

5. Service Quality and Claims

5.1 Inspection Period: We will notify you upon completion of services (e.g., via text, email, or in-person), marking the start of the 48-hour inspection period. You must report any concerns about our services within 48 hours of completion in writing (e.g., via email to [Neumanspressurewashing@gmail.com) or by phone to [678-378-3336] with a detailed description of the issue. After this period, work is deemed accepted, and no claims will be honored.
5.2 Warranties: We do not provide warranties.

6. Additional Terms

6.1 Weather Delays: Services may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather (e.g., rain, lightning, freezing temperatures). We are not liable for delays.
6.2 Media Release: You grant us permission to use photos or videos of the completed work for promotional purposes (e.g., on social media or our website). No personal information or addresses will be shared. You may opt out by notifying us in writing before service begins.
6.3 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be resolved through mediation before pursuing legal action. Contact us at [Neumanspressurewashing@gmail.com] to initiate resolution.
6.4 Compliance: All services comply with local environmental and safety regulations. You acknowledge that cleaning solutions may be used and accept associated risks (e.g., runoff or odors).
6.5 Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to equipment failure, labor shortages, or government restrictions.
6.6 Insurance: Neuman’s Pressure Washing carries appropriate liability insurance. Any claims for incidents covered by our insurance policy should be directed through our insurer, and we will provide necessary contact information upon request.

7. Acknowledgment

By accepting this Agreement, you confirm that:

  • The property is in good repair and weather-tight, including all exterior systems (e.g., windows, electrical fixtures).
  • You understand and agree to all terms outlined above.
